Stop what you are doing!! Is this thing on? Can you hear me loud and clear? Good!! Now, walk with me on this one yall. Nestled back in the Walking Mall of downtown Winchester is this quaint shoes store that has been around since 1947. From the moment we stepped foot (no pun intended) inside their store, the entire staff went above and beyond to help me track down some sneakers for my son. The young man named Phillip was a true throwback to a better time when people took pride in their work and honestly let it be known that they were there to do a job and do it well. Phillip measured my sons feet to make sure we were getting the best size shoe for him. He pulled numerous selections for us to check out and try on before we settled on a "totally awesome" (my son's words) pair of sneakers. The ladies up front were just as amazing as they checked us out too! I look forward to making this our "go-to" shoe shop from here on out. Well done, Wilkins. Well done indeed!

Sue was incredibly helpful, and she helped us find shoes (on sale!) for my daughter and my wild and difficult-to-fit son. My advice to the shop would be to expand into barefoot-friendly shoes with flexible soles and wide toe boxes, for adults and children (Stride Rite, which they carry, is very hit-or-miss for these features). Lovely shop, and I will be back!

Between my podiatrist recommending them& the sales person helping me find the perfect set of arch support insoles, I am one happy customer! 10 out of 10 would recommend! I'll definitely be back in the future!

This is the largest shoe store I’ve ever seen. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and they spent a lot of time finding the perfect shoes for us. Large selection of Dansko’s. This place is perfect if you need specialty shoes.

My grandmother bought me my first shoes at Wilkins and I still go there to this day. Staff is extremely helpful, even when trying to find difficult sizes. They will also order for you and it usually come in within a week's time. This business is a staple to Winchester.

I first took my grandmother to Wilkins shoe store when she begin having balance issues to get her a wide toe box shoe. Because we had to hide her high heel shoes because she was having so many falls they have always taken good care of my family since then I always bought my grandchildren shoes there. Now I’m 71 and getting ready to call them today about getting me some shoes to help my balance Winchester is such a good community and the people that own the store. Make sure you come down the stairs safely. They help you find the right shoe when you’re a woman and you wear a size 12 men’s They just are exceptional people

I got sent here by my employer to get a new pair of boots. The young man that helped me find what was needed and try on several pairs was very kind and patient. I did find this pair pretty quickly and they fit nice.

Home of my old faithful Dansko clogs… Not often it pans out, but I walked in and there they were! Ha! Greeted immediately by friendly staff, we talked about preferred colors and my first choice was on the shelf annnnnnd just so happened to be in my size. Stoked! My previous pair were faithful for 25+ years… they endured lots of wear, so they’re beyond worth it! Your knees & hips will thank you.
